MS. KATHLEEN KENNEDY: My name is Kathleen Kennedy and I have always said that I wanted to be the best that I could be for the age that I am. And several years ago, I was playing tennis with a friend I hadn’t seen in several weeks and she walked up to the court and I went, you look so rested. You look like you’ve had the best vacation ever. And she said, well I’ve had a little work done. And I went, that’s the doctor I want to see. One of the things that was important to me is that I wanted a doctor who didn’t do boobs one day, a butt the next day and maybe a face here and there. I wanted a doctor that solely concentrated on faces and understood a face. It’s my philosophy that you should do small things along the way and not the big everlasting surprise look. I want to do little things along the way that people wouldn’t really notice. And when I saw my friend and she had been to Dr. Robinson, I knew that that was the doctor that I wanted to see. So I came to see Dr. Robinson and immediately liked him. I think one of the things that I loved immediately was that he was an artist. And I think it takes a true artist to understand the structure of a face and the way it moves when you have expression. And our faces are meant to have expression. And he understands that. When I would say, Dr. Robinson, I think I need this or I need this or this, he would say, you know, not yet. Let’s wait on that. Let’s do this first and maybe this first. And to me, that spoke volumes. That said that he had two things, honesty and integrity.
I’ve been in TV for 22 years and that things were starting, you know, the pull and tug on your face through the years does wear. And the elasticity begins to go. And I noticed that I would have to put on my eye makeup holding it up and then let it go. And it, and always felt tired too. And Dr. Robinson said, let’s, let’s start with the eyelids. So we did it and I’ve been so happy with it. To me it was very simple painless surgery. And they explained to me exactly how it would go, what I would feel, how many days of recuperation, what to expect in that recuperation period. They saw me a few weeks after, a few weeks after that to make sure that I was okay. And I had really no swelling at all. It was great.
