Therese's Story - Eyelid Surgery

When Dr. Robinson performed Therese Bailey's eyelid surgery, he delivered results that made her appear rested and rejuvenated.

Therese: My name is Therese. I came to Dr. Robinson because I broke my nose. Whilst I was here we discussed some upper and lower eye work that I needed to have done. Before I came to Dr. Robinson, I had some eye issues. I’m actually of Irish extraction and what happens is that the upper eyelid gets very heavy and tends to lower down. And my father by the time he passed on, he had just very small eyes that you could see the color of his eyes. I was having difficulty putting makeup on, you couldn’t see my makeup. And then I had swelling under my eyelids and I just looked tired the whole time. People used to say, why are you so tired? Or I used to look sick all the time if I didn’t put any makeup on. Dr. Robinson was able to fix that and it was incredibly successful. When I went, after a week, I went back to tennis and everybody said, have you been on vacation? It didn’t make me look as though I had had work done or that I looked younger or anything radical had been done. Just people couldn’t understand, they thought I’d changed my hairstyle. They said I looked incredibly refreshed. I feel completely different. I don’t, when I walk past a mirror in a store, I don’t look tired, I don’t look old. I turned 50 last week and some people don’t believe it. It’s just made me have a whole new outlook on life. I feel that I’m more accepting of procedures for other people whereas I was very critical before. But I, when I see the change it’s done to me and made me feel so much better, I think it’s, you know, something that I would, wish I had done earlier. They are so professional, so discreet and so caring when you walk in and it just makes you feel that you’re coming to do something that’s going to benefit you and make you look and feel better.
