Dr. Robinson offers Sculptra® Aesthetic injections, which stimulate skin's collagen production for rejuvenating results that improve over time and last for years.

DR. ROBINSON: Sculptra is a phenomenal product. It’s one of the newer drugs on the market that we use in our industry. It is a biostimulator, it is not a filler. The fillers would be Restalyne, Juvederm, those are the real common ones. Collagen was the old fashioned one that was the first filler. And fillers you inject and you get an immediate result and slowly goes away. Sculptra is totally different. You inject it and it stimulates your body to make the filler, which is your own collagen, which is natural, it’s slow, progressive. And patients love it. And what they like about is because it is slow and progressive, their friends just know they continue to look better over months but can’t really put their finger on it. Funny story is I had one patient where she was seeing a friend and as she’s talking to her friend, her friend kept looking at the side and finally she goes, what are you doing? And she said, I’m looking for your scars. And she thought she’d had a face lift. And what it does is it produces something that surgery doesn’t do. Surgery is for sagging tissue. Sculptra is for sinking tissue. So if you’re hollowing out here in the cheeks and the temples and the chin, there’s no surgery that can fix that. But Sculptra does and its nice because it’s done in the office, takes five minutes, you’re back out, no down time. And slowly, progressively over time you fill in with collagen that lasts for years. So it’s a great, great product. And I’m actually one of the national trainers for Sanofi-Aventis, which is the company that produces Sculptra. So I will be flown around the country to train other physicians. No one’s allowed to purchase that product unless they’ve first been trained one on one by experienced user, which is myself, so that expertise is really brought here to the practice with me when I’m here when I’m injecting Sculptra. And then I think on top of that again, seeing a facial plastic surgeon versus someone who’s not really as knowledgeable and experienced in the intricacies and the anatomy of the face gives the patient a better chance of a more predictable and natural result here.
