Who is a Good Candidate for Facial Fillers?
Candidates for injectable facial fillers exhibit signs of aging like deep creases or lines, hollowing or volume loss and feel that they could benefit from smoother, plumper facial tissues. Facial fillers are more appropriate for those who have experienced deeper facial lines and creasing in all other areas of the face. They add volume to correct age-related volume loss to help create a more youthful appearance.
Recovery & Results
There is very little recovery time involved with cosmetic injectables. You may experience minor swelling and bruising but we provide our patients with pre & post care instructions to minimize these side effects and maximize your treatment results. You can continue to live your life as normal, including wearing makeup, immediately after the treatment. If there is any redness in the treatment area, it typically disappears within 24 hours. Facial lines and creasing will be diminished, and you will be able to see your final results in a few days. Patients should keep in mind that the results are not permanent and continued treatment is required to maintain your results. Depending on the facial filler used, treatments can last from 6 months up to 2 years.
