Sculptra Aesthetic

Facial wrinkles and sagging are not only the result of gravity and environmental factors—aging also leads to a natural loss of collagen and facial volume. Collagen, the protein that provides structural support in the deep dermis, diminishes over time, weakening the skin’s framework. Additionally, production of elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA)—key molecules that maintain skin elasticity and hydration—also decreases.

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an injectable treatment designed to stimulate your body’s own collagen production, helping restore youthful volume naturally. It is commonly used to enhance the cheeks, temples, and jawline, revitalizing facial contours for a balanced, refreshed appearance.

Sculptra’s poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) formulation works gradually to rebuild your skin’s underlying support. Treatments are typically administered every six weeks, with most patients requiring two to three sessions. Results develop subtly over time and can last up to two years, providing natural-looking rejuvenation without an overdone appearance.

Recovery & Results

Sculptra® injections are performed in-office with minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume their daily activities immediately. To ensure comfort, a topical anesthetic is applied before treatment. Mild swelling may occur but can be managed with a cold pack during the first 24 hours.

For best results, patients are encouraged to gently massage the treated areas in the days following treatment to promote even distribution. Most patients complete a series of two to three treatments, spaced about six weeks apart. Once the initial series is complete, annual maintenance treatments are usually sufficient to sustain a naturally refreshed and youthful appearance.
