In this three-part series, learn more about how laser treatments can help you achieve your cosmetic goals.

Introducing the Sciton Halo Laser
The Halo laser treatment by Sciton is a revolutionary way to treat a myriad of skin concerns. With its ability to combine ablative and non-ablative treatments into a single procedure, this device can be customized to the unique needs of every one of our patients. Whether your skin imperfections are a sign of aging, sun damage or even heredity, we can help you achieve the complexion and appearance you want with minimal discomfort and downtime.

Treatment Options
The Sciton Halo laser can treat any or all of the following skin concerns:

  • Fine lines and facial creases
  • Hyperpigmentation, brown spots and freckles
  • Shallow scarring
  • Irregular skin texture
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Uneven skin tone

Halo works at different skin depths at the same time, providing full skin rejuvenation while minimizing the appearance of specific imperfections. After the treatment recovery, your skin will appear softer and smoother, with results that can be long-lasting.

About the Procedure
Halo laser treatments are performed on an outpatient basis using a topical anesthetic. The procedure typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on the specific concerns to be addressed. A short recovery period is needed to allow us to cool down the skin from the treatment. Usually, patients are out of the office and back to activities with a few restrictions within a lunch hour timeframe.

After Halo treatment, your skin will be slightly red and may feel sensitive like a mild sunburn. You will be given products to use after your treatment that will promote healing of the skin and enhance the results of your procedure. Within several days, you will notice a visible improvement in your skin, reduction in skin concerns and reversal of some of the signs of aging. Depending on how well you treat your skin after your procedure, your positive results could last years.

Dr. Burke Robinson and Heather Davis are pleased to offer their patients a menu of innovative laser treatments, including the Halo laser by Sciton. To learn more about this skin rejuvenation procedure, contact Robinson Facial Plastic Surgery at 770-667-3090.
