Open Your Eyes to Lower-Lid Liquid Lift

The eyes are the window to the soul, but puffiness under the eyes, dark circles, fine lines, or hollowness often make people look more tired and older than they are. Historically, these conditions were often addressed with surgical procedures that open the eyes to produce a refreshed appearance. But did you know? Depending on your needs, this rejuvenated look can also come without incisions, downtime, or anesthesia.

A lower-lid liquid lift restores youthfulness to the eyes through the use of facial fillers, volumizing and supporting the under-eyelid area.

How a lower-lid liquid lift works

Often, dark circles are the result of fat bulging in the lower eyelid that is exaggerated by the loss of volume. This creates a hollow area called the tear trough. When a dermal filler is strategically injected into this tear trough, the area fills with volume, resulting in less shadow, a less hollowed look, and improvement in the dark circles.

A combination of facial fillers is used and injected under the skin’s surface to support the underlying skin structure and address a variety of concerns, leaving you looking refreshed and rejuvenated.

How to choose a provider

The undereye skin is the thinnest and most delicate skin on your face. Therefore, its critical to use an experienced provider because lumpy results or serious complications can occur when an injection is poorly administered. At Robinson Facial Plastic Surgery, we have earned Presidential Elite status with Galderma Aesthetics, putting us in the top 1% of injectable accounts across the nation.

When selecting a provider, select one with extensive years of training and experience with administering fillers! Our team of Advanced Cosmetic Injectors – Dr. Burke Robinson, Michelle Giglio, PA-C, and Ivette Ballara, RN, BSN have decades of experience in facial rejuvenation using cosmetic fillers.

All three are true artists when it comes to facial rejuvenation with cosmetic fillers. Injectables are a combination of art, science, and safety. The science and safety come first, but the art is right behind them. Trusting your injector’s expertise is key!

What to expect during recovery

Fortunately, very little recovery is required with injectables. It’s normal to experience minor swelling and bruising, and any redness disappears after 24 hours. You’ll be able to see full results within a few days but note that results are not permanent. Depending on the filler used, your results can last for several months, but re-injection will be needed to maintain your improvement.
